Lisa May is an Indigenous Australian Techno DJ and producer known for her dark and heavy music. With over a decade of experience, she has gained a dedicated following with her dynamic and energetic live sets, showcasing her deep connection with the crowd. While her mastery of vinyl DJing has shaped her understanding of music, she now delivers flawless and engaging digital DJ sets.

In 2023, Lisa joined Melbourne’s renowned Techno agency, Eat The Beat, marking a significant milestone in her career. Since joining the agency Lisa is a regular on the main stage of the agencies weekly club night which is considered to be Melbourne’s premier techno venue. In just six months since moving to Melbourne, she has accomplished being a main support act for the world’s biggest techno Dj’s coming through Melbourne as well as playing at ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) Carl Cox’s PURE, Sydney Mardi Gras’s main party, Revolver Upstairs and the iconic Piknic event by Hardware Group.

In the studio Lisa’s dedication to perfecting her sound has paid off, the title track on her first release on Victor Ruiz’s Volta Records was remixed by Thomas Schumacher and the EP was number two on Beatports Techno Releases. Lisa recently signed her second 3-track EP to Volta Records which was featured in the infamous Spotify Techno Bunker Playlist. She has received a lot of support from big hitters and there’s still so much more to come.

Lisa has exciting shows lined up for 2024, and a many bookings across Australia. Originally from the small town of Nabiac, the sky is the limit for this little techno machine.
