Chriss Matto’ is an Italian DJ/Producer with an attraction to experimental music - a genre that has no bounds and limitless possibilities. He desires to create a music that comes from a deep rooted belief that “music is good for the soul”. That music allows people to experience a whole new world. His interest for Deejaying was sparked during his teenage years where he started developing is own musical background listening to variety of musical genres from Soulfunk to Jazz and Classic House. At private parties and clubs his music is well liked. His style is a fusion of musical genres that is full of joy, liberty and glam. His passion for music continued to grow as a University student, whilst studying in Milan for his Bachelor of Marketing and Economics.During this time, he meets Ugo Lucchese and Bruno Bolla, popular figures in the Lombardy club scene, who further encourages Chriss to perfect his art and technique. Back and forth from Sicily to Australia ,he decides after taking part of a showcase on Kiss FM “ Australia Calling all Djs Competition” to remain in this magic land, collaborating with Franky D. He is now the resident DJ for Eat the Beat at New Guernica nightclub. Playing in different clubs around Australia and sharing the decks with many popular underground artists like Alberto Ruiz, Pirupa, Tornado Wallace, Loco & Jam, Mike Steeva, Toru Ikemotu, Nic Fanciulli, Robert Babicz, Nakadia, ETWAS (IT), Matteo Frerye, Ivan Di Gennaro. Chriss has also played at different festivals like Eartchore, Beyond the valley, the famous Circoloco, Babylon and Pitch, sharing the booth with Dubfire, Nicole Moudaber, Apollonia, Henry Saiz, Art Department and many more. Last but not least, he never forget his Sicilian origins.He is the manager of the most important beach party in Sicily called “AfterBeach”. On 14th -15th of August he collaborates and plays for the Festival “Ferragosto d’Italia” and also share the decks with Luca Lento, best friend and mentore of his music life, Daniele Tignino, Da Lukas, Dangeli, Mc Mariolino, Luca Marano into more Sicilian clubs.
